The Engine Room: Power, Range, and Uncompromising Safety

This page dives deep into the heart of the PawkyMo e-bike series: our advanced power systems. We go beyond simple marketing to focus on Watt-hours (Wh)—the ultimate metric for real-world performance—and leverage top-tier LG 21700 cell technology to deliver unmatched range, reliability, and peace of mind on every ride.

I. The Gold Standard: Watt-Hours (Wh) and Range Promise

When it comes to e-bike batteries, Watt-hours (Wh) are the gold standard for measuring total energy and actual range potential. It's the most accurate capacity number because it accounts for both Voltage (V) and Ampere-hours (Ah).

Our flagship models are engineered with massive battery capacities that significantly exceed the industry average (typically 300 Wh to 750 Wh for standard e-bikes). This means less "range anxiety" and more freedom, whether you’re commuting, exploring the city, or tackling tough terrain.

Model Motor Output  Rated Capacity (Wh) Detailed Spec Official Range
AR20 Urban Commuter 750W Rear Hub Motor 960 Wh 48V 20Ah 35 Miles
AR50 All-Terrain 2X2 2000W Dual Motor 2400 Wh (Dual Battery) 48V 50Ah 64 Miles

AR20 (960 Wh): At 960 Wh, the AR20 offers a substantial power reserve, providing plenty of juice for extended commutes and daily use, far surpassing the 300 Wh to 500 Wh typically sufficient for urban riding.

AR50 (2400 Wh): The 2400 Wh dual-battery system is a top-of-the-line energy platform. This setup, paired with the 2000W dual motor, ensures superior torque and sustained power output for rigorous all-terrain conditions and truly long-distance adventures.

II. Battery Cell Technology and System Integrity

We don't compromise on the components that power your ride. We commit to using the most reliable and highest-performing cells available.

  • Top-Tier Cell Chemistry: Both the AR20 and AR50 utilize world-class LG 21700 ternary lithium cells. This high-energy-density format provides excellent stability, long cycle life, and reliable performance. The AR50, in particular, relies on a Dual LG 21700 cell configuration to manage the demands of its high-powered, dual-motor system.

  • Modular Power Platform: The AR50’s 2400 Wh system is built around a modular dual-battery design. This engineering approach allows you to seamlessly expand the bike's capacity, effectively doubling your riding distance, which is critical for minimizing range anxiety on long-distance tours or challenging expeditions.

III. Smart Charging and Quick Turnaround

Getting your bike back to 100% needs to be safe, smart, and efficient.

  • Standard Charging Times: The standard charger brings the AR20 from 0% to 100% in approximately 6–6.5 hours, while the high-capacity AR50 takes about 8–8.5 hours.

  • Intelligent Communication: Our chargers feature smart communication built-in. This means the charger constantly talks to the Battery Management System (BMS) to optimize the charging cycle, ensuring maximum safety and extending the overall battery lifespan.

  • Fast Charge Ready: While our standard charger prioritizes battery longevity, all models are designed to support an optional fast charger accessory, allowing for significantly reduced charging times when you need a quick boost.

IV. Engineering Excellence: Safety and Reliability You Can't See

The integrity of our power system is guaranteed by engineering details that aren't visible on the spec sheet, but are crucial for long-term safety and performance.

  • Precision Wire Management: Our organized harness routing is about more than just a clean look—it's about engineering precision. Custom cable guides minimize friction and wear, protecting the wires from chafing against the frame or moving parts and preventing debris ingress. This ensures your shifting and braking remain precise and your electrical system lasts for years.

  • Mitigating EMI (Electromagnetic Interference): Because high-end e-bikes rely on accurate sensor data (like torque and cadence), signal integrity is critical. We strictly separate high-voltage motor wires from low-voltage sensor wires. Additionally, we prioritize shielded or twisted-pair signal cables to mitigate electromagnetic interference. This rigorous attention to detail ensures your ride modes and software controls are smooth and reliable.
  • Proactive Safety Protocols: We empower our riders with knowledge to maintain a safe and reliable electrical system :
  1. Always disconnect battery power before performing any electrical maintenance or work on the bike.
  2. Regularly inspect connection points. Keep them clean and dry to prevent corrosion or damage.
  3. Monitor your display for error codes and ensure the controller housing has proper ventilation to prevent overheating, which is vital for system stability and longevity
